It’s always best to look forward than to look back. There is a huge caveat to that though.
You have to look back to not repeat the same mistakes going forward. Trust that hard earned intuition. Build on what you learned. Don’t dwell on the things that went wrong, grow from them.
A mistake isn’t a mistake if you repeat it time and time again. It’s a pattern.
So, I spend most of my time thinking of the future because that is the direction I’m travelling. I look back to remember what I learned on the way.
