I’ve made changes to protect my mental space. Accounts are private, boundaries are clear, and I’m no longer giving anyone access to influence my emotions.
It’s tempting to get pulled into other people’s narratives — to read posts, react, or explain yourself. But I’ve realised that engaging only drags me down. The strongest move is to step back, reclaim my focus, and decide what deserves my attention.
Boundaries aren’t just about keeping others out. They’re about giving myself permission to heal, focus on what matters, and surround myself with people who respect me.
Walking away from toxicity isn’t easy, but it’s necessary. Taking control of your space, your energy, and your attention isn’t just protection — it’s empowerment. And that’s where real strength lives.
